The Community Council is a commitee comprised of Parents, Administrators, and Teachers. You do not have to be a member of Community Council to attend the meetings. All parents and Grantsville Community members are welcome to attend. One of the main purposes of the committee is overseeing the allocating of State Trustlands funds. We invite any and all members of the GHS community to be a part of this very important organization.The council meets once a month during the school year. Check the calendar below for specific dates and times.
The council can also address other community concerns and issues related to GHS. Please email Mr. Ernst by the MONDAY BEFORE the meeting for your questions, comments, or concerns to be added to the Agenda. Feel free to contact any member of the council.
All meetings will be held in Room 3 and generally last one hour
September 26, 2016 – View video, elect chair and vice chair, meeting schedule, review 15-16, 16-17 plan.
November 7, 2016 – Evaluate school data, Identify academic needs at GHS, spring 90 day plan input
January 9, 2017 - Identify academic needs for 2017-18 plan with SMART goals, monetary allocation for each goal.
February 20, 2017 – Finalize 2017-18 plan vote and sign.
April 17, 2017 - If needed
