Tooele County School District is proposing to increase property tax revenue within Tooele County. Concerned citizens are invited to attend a public hearing August 11, 7 p.m. at the school district building, 92 Lodestone Way, Tooele, Utah.
The return to school survey sent out to parents, students, and employees received more than 7,600 responses. Depending on who was answering the survey, a respondent could have answered up to 41 questions. Questions included preferences of school reopening during the COVID-19 health pandemic, busing needs, athletics, various social and emotional supports, past experiences from last school year’s soft-closure, remote/distance learning, and more. The results from the survey have been shared with members of the Board of Education as they prepare to vote on a plan to reopen schools in the fall.
