The Tooele County School District will host a Career and Technical Education Open House October 30th, 6 p.m. at the Tooele Community Learning Center (211 S Tooele Boulevard, Tooele, UT 84074).
Speakers include: Congressman Chris Stewart, Lt. Governor Spencer Cox, Tooele County Commissioner Shawn Milne, Grantsville City Mayor Brent Marshall, Tooele City Mayor Debbie Winn and educator/author Dr. Tom Evans.
Come tour the Tooele County Community Learning Center and learn about what Tooele County is doing in Career and Technical Education to help prepare students for the future. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from former TCSD students who will talk about how the CTE program has helped them since graduating high school.

Recently, in the news, there have been reports of norovirus outbreaks in our state. As of right now, there have been no confirmed cases of norovirus in any school in Tooele County School District. We have been in direct contact with the Tooele County Health Department to confirm this information. However, Tooele County Health Department has had one reported case, but no confirmed cases. Due to the contagious nature of the norovirus, we are taking extra sanitary steps in all of our facilities and buses to help prevent the virus from spreading.
